I am a cultural professional specializing in Wikipedia, digital engagement, open data, and open government. I am Director of Community Engagement at the Digital Public Library of America. Previously, I worked at the National Archives and Records Administration, leading their Wikipedia initiative and other citizen archivist programs.

I began at the National Archives in 2011 as its Wikipedian in Residence, and went on to lead its citizen archivist programs, inviting the public to tag, transcribe, and share the nation's records.
